It is said that precaution is the best treatment for any disease. You must take precautions to avoid occurrence of Hemorrhoid. Though, hemorrhoid is not serious in nature still it can give you pain and make you uncomfortable. Rectal bleeding is considered as main symptom of Hemorrhoid. It is not necessary that every occurrence of stool blood is hemorrhoid symptom. However, such bleeding is indicative of some serious disease. Early diagnostic and timely treatment can give you relief from hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids are treated as per their type-internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids which occur during pregnancy can be treated with minor treatments. Usually, Hemorrhoids can be removed by minor operations. Generally, hemorrhoid surgery is recommended for internal hemorrhoids with severe pain/bleeding.

External hemorrhoids can be treated at home for immediate temporary relief. One of such methods is method is warm water sittings. You can use lukewarm water in a tub – may add pinch of iodine- and sit in the tub. You have to repeat this procedure everyday. The results of this procedure will provide you relief from irritation and itching caused by hemorrhoids.

Dietary control is another way of getting relief from hemorrhoids. Use plenty of fluid in your diet. Take fibrous diet. This liquid and fibrous diet helps in softening and easy passing of motion. As a result of this diet control, you need not to apply pressure for motion. Pressure is once of the causes of aggravation and bleeding hemorrhoids.

Regular exercise also helps in easy passing of tools. This method is successful mainly in pregnant women. There is a simple exercise for pregnant women to get relief from hemorrhoids. You have to just lie down on your back for 15 to 20 minutes. This relieves the pressure on affected veins and reduces pain.

Apart from these home methods, there are certain methods which are non-surgical in nature and can be performed in clinics.

Rubber band method is considered easy way of hemorrhoid treatment. In this method affected veins are tied with a rubber band. This rubber band curtails the blood flow towards affected veins which results in disappearing of hemorrhoid.

The other non-surgical treatment is coagulation therapy. In this method affected tissues are removed with the help of scalp. You can use scleo-therapy for getting relief from hemorrhoids. In this method certain chemicals are injected to gain relief from hemorrhoids.

Usually, for advanced and severely paining hemorrhoids, surgery is conducted to get fast relief.
